Graduated in Fundamentals of Architecture at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in 2022 and qualified with the Master in Architecture in 2023 also at UPM. He has been pre-admitted to the PhD programme in Construction and Architectural Technologies at UPM, and his research interests focus on the use of artificial intelligence for the segmentation of point clouds in historical buildings, on which he will deepen in his PhD thesis.
During his last years of study, he joined the AIPA research group thanks to a scholarship at the UPM. Subsequently, he was hired as a researcher in the CAREEN project, funded by the Community of Madrid, focusing on artificial intelligence methods for the characterisation of damage in historical buildings from point clouds. He has collaborated in the digitalisation of sculptures and in the integration of data from the Barrio de Bodegas de Baltanás. He has also participated in conferences and in the organisation of I+D+i activities.
Currently, since 2024, he is a pre-doctoral fellow (FPI) at the Institute of Physical and Information Technologies (ITEFI) of the CSIC, where he develops his research activity in the MeDeAH project (Application of mechatronics and deep learning to tomographic imaging for the improvement of the structural diagnosis of architectural heritage) of the G-CARMA group.
