Ph. D. student - CSIC (2008-2012)
A Ph.D. four-year contract was granted by the Spanish government, Formación del personal Investigador (FPI), to work in the Grupo I+D de Sensores (GRIDSEN) of the Instituto de Física Aplicada (IFA - CSIC) under the supervision of the Dr. Carmen Horrillo Güemes and Dr. José Luis Fontecha González. The thesis was presented on July 13th 2012 with the title SENSORES MÁSICOS PARA LA DETECCIÓN DE AGENTES DE GUERRA QUÍMICA Y BIOLÓGICA at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM) and it was qualified with “Sobresaliente Cum Laudem por Unanimidad”
Two research internships were carried out in France the Laboratoire de l'Intégration du Matériau au Système (IMS - CNRS) for my predoctoral stage.
1st Postdoctoral – CSIC (2012-2013)
He was contracted as a Ph. D in the Grupo I+D de Sensores (GRIDSEN) of the Instituto de Seguridad de la Información (ISI) and worked on the project PROSAVE 2 supported by CESA company.
2nd Postdoctoral – UNAM (2013-2015)
He was incorporated with UNAM postdoctoral grant into the group of Microwaves Photonics of the CCADET at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) as Principal Investigator of the project “Transductores ultrasónicos (0.4-2 ghz) basados en ondas magnetoelásticas generadas en capas delgadas de estructuras ferromagnéticas para su uso como sensores químicos”.
Researcher – UNAM (2015-2018)
After winning the position“Plaza de Investigador Asociado ‘C’ en el área de Instrumentación Científica Básica y Aplicada“, He was incorporated as a new researcher of the Sensor Group of the ICAT-UNAM, and he was recognized as a member of the Researcher National System of México.
Two projects from the Programa de Apoyo a Proyectos de Investigación e Innovación Tecnológica (IA103016) and (TA100118) were directed as a Principal Investigator.
He has imparted courses in the Electrical Engineering Master and Biomedicine Master and I was tutor of degree, master and PhD students.
Researcher – CSIC (2015-2018)
In 2018 he won a competitive project "ComFuturo" entitled "Analytical microsystems based on magnetic nanostructures" to develop gas sensors based on magnetic nanoestuctures and through which he has joined the SENSAVAN group of the CSIC.
He has participated as a reviewer in different journals and conferences, as an invited Editor in Journal of Sensors, and have assisted by invitation to different conferences.
He also forms part of various academic and scientific committees, such as, evaluating committee for public positions in the university, evaluation committee for projects and evaluation committee for student grants.
