In this Project, we study the behavior of Leishmania parasites in their two stages, promastigote and amastigote, exposed to ultrasonic standing waves in a microfluidic resonating channels. The study is performed in a glass capillary actuated by two faced piezoelectric transducers resonating at 3.7MHz. The parasites collect along the center of the channel driven by an acoustic radiation force induced.
