The design and control of any system requires a thorough understanding of its dynamics. In the case of the systems developed within the Group of Power Ultrasound, CSIC, this dynamic is nonlinear. Experiments have proven the existence of harmonic and subharmonic components, the displacement of the resonance frequency and routes to chaos. Reporting evidence of conduct that, if not properly studied and controlled, can lead to degradation of the system. Our future work will be to develop a methodology to identify the source of various nonlinearities, which requires a comprehensive study of the dynamic and interaction between the subsystems involved.
